From my friend Joe.
"I opened the paper this morning to see a picture of what I thought was a paper-mache head with no eyes in the sockets. Turns out it was that rascally pharoh, King Tutankhamun, aka King Tut, who began his rule at age 10 and had he lived, would be celebrating his 3,300th birthday this year.
This determination is made by "carbon-dating" where they disassemble a water filter and rub the contents all over the body. I'm not sure what happens after that.
Archeologists recently discovered more artifacts in his tomb, including a tattered Blue Cross card and some medical records. The young king had a cleft palate, a club foot, and more than likely died of complications from a broken leg, occurring when he fell off a step-stool while trying to milk a camel. But I'm guessing the boy ruler was destined to have some squirrely abnormalities. His parents were brother and sister!! Records show their names may have been Floyd and Bathsheika Ankhamaun. Whew!!
Good thing they didn't have FaceBook back then. "My brother keeps coming into my tent---he's such a dork----kind of creeps me out."
